Aimee Gray Academy

Welcome to the Aimee Gray Academy of Performing Arts.

We are here to offer the best, most professional performing arts training in Warwickshire for your young people.

We have been teaching young people in London and Warwickshire for over 10 years.

We offer group classes in LAMDA, acting and musical theatre, as well as private tuition and holiday workshops for children aged between 2 and 18.

We have personal links with children’s casting directors around the UK and if your child would like to take their performing arts into the professional world we will arm them with the skills that they need.

We look forward to meeting you.

Testimonials

Promoting yourself is a very difficult thing to do, so we asked a few of our private students' parents what they thought about our classes.

‘My daughter Rosie has been seeing Aimee for over a year now.  Not only is she the most fantastic teacher but we would both regard her as a friend.  Being at a very influential age, (14) and after going through some hard times Rosie has thrived with Aimee.  It’s not only that she’s a fantastic teacher but she understands children and their needs.  We consider her a bit of an angel.’

'Aimee is amazing! My girls adore her. She is always very encouraging, positive and boosts their confidence no end. They both love her sessions.'
------------------------------

My daughter has always had a love for acting. Aimee makes this extra special for her each week with her absolute passion and professionalism for each  student.

Aimee loves what she does and this shines through  inspiring each student to achieve their love for drama.

I can not recommend Aimee as a LAMDA teacher enough not only for children who dream of treading those boards but also for those who need an extra confidence boost!

Thank you Aimee x

----------------------------

‘My daughters' aged 6 and 9 have had the loveliness of Aimee Gray in their lives for over a year now in a few different ways.

Aimee teaches both my girls at the Academy of Performing Arts and has guided them through the whole process of putting on a show from initial audition technique to curtain calls, always focusing on fun, and playing to their strengths to bring out the best in them.

In the last 12 months both of my girls have had many hours of private tuition with Aimee, working on monologues, poems, and plays. They have both undertaken LAMDA exams and thanks to Aimee's teaching, have gained distinctions according to the LAMDA grading system.

Aimee has prepared my eldest daughter for West End auditions, and also picked her up when things haven't been always successful. Arming her with the spirit required to be successful in a sometimes brutal industry.

Aimee started teaching my youngest daughter when she was just 4 and the immediate results in term of improved confidence, and concentration were just a joy to watch as a parent.

Aimee has a special connection with children, teaching always in a child led manner.

My youngest daughter has struggled with school and academic life recently and I knew Aimee was our best hope of making some progress, so she also now separately teaches English and maths to her in a more creative way, again playing to her strengths and individual learning style. The progress has been amazing.

I love the positive impact this fabulous actress has had on all areas of the girls lives.

She encourages a growth mindset, for children to have a voice and helps them believe they have unlimited potential.

Thank you Aimee!’

‘My daughter started LAMDA classes with Aimee in Year 8 and has been with her now for a year. Aimee immediately made her feel at ease and they hit it off from day one. Her teaching style is professional, energetic, inspirational and fun! She really relates to young people and is a great mentor, getting the very best out of them in a positive and caring way. My daughter loves going to her classes and her confidence and self esteem have been boosted enormously by Aimee.’
